Next NDA Friends Event

Accompanied by a glass of wine, informal music performance and discussion, the NDA’s "Open Kitchen" events offer the Friends of the NDA the opportunity to gain exclusive, “behind the scene” insights into the activities of the NDA.

During the event on the 5th of June, NDA director Simon Murphy will outline some of the NDA’s current research projects and will detail the NDA’s concert programmes planned for performance in season 2010 – 2011. Members of the NDA Soloists will give a short presentation during their rehearsals of Bach’s Orchestral Suites no 1 and 2 and Vivaldi’s Concerto for Flautino and Orchestra in C.

The Open Kitchen is free to NDA Friends and their guests.

You can help support the activities of the NDA by becoming a friend of the orchestra.

In return, you will be invited to the exclusive NDA "Open Kitchen" evenings (twice a year), receive a discount on NDA CDs sold at NDA concerts and be kept informed about the NDA's research and performing activities through the NDA Friends Newsletter (three times a year).

Membership costs 40 Euros (single) or 60 Euros (couple) per year. If you wish, you can further support the orchestra's activities by making a donation on top of this. Payments should be made to the New Dutch Academy, giro 959 58 78.
