Simon Murphy and NDA to appear with Bach's Cello at Bachfest Leipzig 2010Simon Murphy and the NDA Chamber Soloists have been invited by the prestigious Bachfest Leipzig to give a very special performance in Bach's own workspace, Schloss Koethen, in a programme which will feature the NDA's successful reconstruction of Bach's own Cello - the Violoncello Piccolo. In the programme, Simon Murphy (Violoncello Piccolo) will perform Bach's famously virtuosic 6th Suite in D Major - a work which Bach probably composed in Koethen in around 1720. |
